If that space is infinite, isn’t it possible that another universe could exist 100 trillion light years away from the edge of our universe?

depends who you ask I think, but to most the size of the universe is limited. Well the tangible part. Of course for all any one knows there could be something other than nothing beyond the tangible universe that us humans can’t yet comprehend, lols
Ne ways, its basically figured out through the “big bang” i believe. You know the total amount of energy. At this point in time the galaxies are racing out wards at crazy speeds. So I’m assuming one can mathematically calculate the farthest matter could have gone since humans have determined that the universe is roughly 12billion?or was it 17, i forget, so you know the rate at wich they move apart over the course of time, shoudl get you the max distances matter can be.
To be honest, I don’t think any of us humans on Earth know. We’re just a little planet with a Sun spinning in the Milky Way Galaxy. Infinite was and always be hard for me grasp. How can anything go forever? I used to discuss this with my brother when we were kids in bed.
We finally came to the conclusion that once space ends, what is on the other side. Infinite again. So yeah, your question is valid. Keep thinking Bro.
You can only calculate the volume of the visible universe, that is the universe you can see as observer. The real universe could extend far beyond that horizon.
Our universe does also not have an edge. An observer, who is today, where our visible universe ends, could see as far in all directions, as we can - but he would see our place like 14 billion years ago, at the edge of his visible universe. The whole can still be infinite in space, but could have at least one limit in time.

A current and growing in popularity theory states (in extremely general terms) that the edge of the universe in the beginning of the opposite side. As much as many of us would want to be omnipotent, all we can do is have our theories; but if this is true, at least we can claim that we are truely at the center of the Universe
